Christ Our King (feat. Steven Malcolm)

VERSE:
You came here for the outsider
You came here for the least of these
You came here for the broken hearts
And lifted us off our knees

CHORUS:
We saw a light in the sky
We followed hope through the night
And now we can sing
He's here, Christ the King
This is, this is, this is Christ our King
This is, this is, the Holy One that set us free

VERSE 2:
You came here to tear down our hate
To bear the burden that we could not take
You came here to restore our lives
You are the treasure that we could not buy

CHORUS:
We saw a light in the sky
We followed hope through the night
And now we can sing
He's here, Christ the King
This is, this is, this is Christ our King
This is, this is, the Holy One that set us free

BRIDGE:
Hallelujah, Heaven's opened wide
The King became a babe on that starry night
This is, this is, this is Christ our King
Hail, O' hail, the Word made flesh
This King was born to die for us
Hail, O' Hail our God in flesh
The King has come and rescued us

VERSE 3:
Yeah, uh, yeah, yeah
Through the blood of the Lamb that was shed on the Cross
All things made new
Came for the broken a heart of perfection that we look to (Yeah, yeah)
A love on display that saves
A beauty that's making a way
Who took all my sin, shame guilt and threw it away (Woo)
Free from it all, you know only God get the glory (Free from it all)
See light in a path where I become second and live to be history
We are messengers living to give every breath and all that I be
Giving all of ourselves to who's on the throne, Christ our King

CHORUS:
This is, this is, this is Christ our King
This is, this is, the Holy One that set us free
Hallelujah, heaven opened wide
The King became a babe on that starry night
This is, this is, this is Christ our King
This is, this is, this is Christ our King
